I teach math at a magnet high school in South Florida.  I have always been passionate about mathematics and if I had the time I would spend a lot more of it on reading about and working on math.  I majored in math in college, have a master's degree in math, and had a dream of going on for a PhD.  But that just isn't practical in my life.  It was hard to let go of the dream, but I think I have.

I also have a master's degree in Urban Affairs, and have worked in planning departments of some local government agencies.  It was interesting - but not my true calling.

I am married to the most devoted husband I could imagine.  I have three beautiful daughters who have brought me nothing but joy their whole lives.  I know that I am a very lucky woman for all of this in my life.

I grew up and went to college in the NY metropolitan area, and still miss it - although not enough to want to live there!

I am looking forward to retirement in the not too distant future, and have lots of things that I want to do when the time comes.  This will take money and so my husband and I are working very hard to try and get a network marketing business off the ground.  This is originally why I joined hubpages, but I've discovered that I really enjoy it - just for it's own sake.  There seems to be a wonderful community here and I am glad to be a part of it.

One last thing about me - when I write I always say too much.  If I have a word limit I always end up having to cut parts out.  I bet you could have guessed : )
